Life

Amongst the horizon
You lay like the Earth
Awaiting to fertilize my seed

I stand above you
Push down onto you
Your Earth surrounding me complete

The days go by
The seed takes hold
The roots are held into place

Week 16 comes along
It's apparent you're here
Movement is like a breeze in the wind

By 7 months of time
I'm barely able to stand
But the weight of love carries on

Nine moons have past
and the harvest is here
To determine the fruit that I bare

A boy and a girl
What a blessing for us
Mother Nature and Earth have united
